We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Credit & Collections Specialist to support our Accounts Receivable operations across Poland and Eastern Europe. In this role, you will play a key part in managing customer accounts, reducing outstanding debt, and ensuring healthy cash flow while building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

You will collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Service, and Finance teams to drive collection activities, resolve account issues, and support continuous improvement of working capital performance.

What you will do

• Manage and perform daily collection activities for customers across Poland and Eastern Europe.
• Proactively contact customers via phone, email, and other communication channels regarding outstanding invoices and overdue payments.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure timely payment and effective issue resolution.
• Monitor and maintain the Accounts Receivable subledger for your assigned region.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account information and records.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, payment disputes, and customer queries.
• Review and approve customer credit hold releases when appropriate.
• Prepare and negotiate payment plans and collection arrangements.
• Partner with Sales Managers, Sales Representatives, and Customer Service teams to review customer account status and support business continuity.
• Drive initiatives to improve Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and reduce overdue debt balances.
• Assess customer creditworthiness and help minimize financial risk to the organization.
• Process account adjustments and ensure compliance with internal procedures and policies.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, Collections, or Finance.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build effective relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Experience handling payment disputes and resolving customer account issues.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Fluency in English; additional Eastern European languages are an advantage.
