• We are looking for a proactive and analytical IT Systems Analyst to support and enhance enterprise applications, business processes, and digital transformation initiatives across the organisation.

The successful candidate will possess a broad understanding of IT systems, business processes, application support, and system integration concepts. This role requires a combination of business analysis, application support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting ERP solutions, particularly SAP S/4HANA, or demonstrate a strong willingness to develop expertise in SAP and related enterprise systems.

Experience with workflow automation, document management systems, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and system integration technologies will be considered advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

Application and ERP Support

• Provide application support for SAP S/4HANA or other ERP systems.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve system and application-related issues.
• Support business users with system functionality, data management, reporting, and process improvements.
• Participate in testing, upgrades, implementation, and change management activities.
• Assist with user training and documentation.

Business Analysis

• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand operational processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Support process optimisation and digital transformation initiatives.
• Act as a liaison between business users, vendors, and technical teams.

System Integration and Automation

• Support system-to-system integrations and data exchange processes.
• Assist with API-based integrations and interface monitoring.
• Work with data formats such as JSON, XML, CSV, and other structured data.
• Support ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data migration activities.
• Participate in automation initiatives using Robotic Process Automation (RPA) technologies.
• Assist in troubleshooting integration and data flow issues.

Technical Support

• Support databases and application-related data management activities.
• Develop and maintain simple scripts, reports, or utilities where required.
• Assist in analysing and resolving technical issues across multiple business applications.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, development, and external vendor teams when necessary.

Optional Application Support Areas

The successful candidate may also support:

• BPM (Business Process Management) and workflow applications, particularly Nintex K2 Cloud.
• Document Management Systems (DMS), such as Oracle DMS.
• Expense Management systems, including SAP Concur.
• Other enterprise business applications used within the organisation.

Required Skills and Experience

Essential

• Experience in IT application support, systems support, business analysis, or a related role.
• Understanding of IT infrastructure fundamentals, including networks, servers, and enterprise application environments.
• Knowledge of:

o Databases and SQL concepts
o ETL concepts and data processing
o APIs and web services
o JSON and XML data formats
o Software development lifecycle principles
o Robotic Process Automation concepts

• Experience gathering, analysing, and documenting business requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.

ERP Experience

• Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, or other ERP platforms is preferred.
• Candidates with support experience in other ERP systems are encouraged to apply.
• Candidates without SAP experience must demonstrate a strong willingness to learn SAP and enterprise business processes.

• Exposure to API development or integration technologies.

Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a business-oriented IT professional who can bridge the gap between business users and technology teams. They have practical experience supporting enterprise applications, understand business processes, and are interested in expanding their expertise in SAP, workflow solutions, automation, and system integration technologies. Experience with BPM, DMS, SAP Concur, RPA, or integration technologies is beneficial but not mandatory. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are highly valued.
