Jónsbók is a growing legal tech company built by lawyers and engineers. We develop an AI platform for legal research, analysis, and document drafting, designed specifically for legal professionals. Our platform supports the day-to-day work of law firms, in-house legal teams, financial institutions, and public-sector entities that need fast access to reliable legal sources and practical document workflows.

Jónsbók is already active in several European jurisdictions and continues to expand. Our platform offers source-based answers, drafting support, document analysis, legal database search, and Microsoft Word integration. We are now looking for an experienced legal professional to help drive our growth in Czechia.

This is a role for someone who combines legal credibility with strong commercial instincts and wants to work at the intersection of law, technology, and business development.

What you will do

· drive Jónsbók's growth and commercial presence in the Czech market

· build relationships with law firms, in-house legal teams, financial institutions, and other organizations interested in legal tech

· lead product demonstrations, commercial conversations, and consultative sales meetings with decision-makers

· identify client needs and translate them into practical product use cases

· support market-entry and go-to-market efforts for Czechia

· work closely with product and commercial teams to help localize the platform for the Czech legal market

· represent Jónsbók in meetings, conferences, and legal industry events

· contribute to the long-term commercial strategy for Czechia

Who we are looking for

· a qualified lawyer or experienced legal professional with a background in a law firm, in-house legal team, compliance function, or another relevant legal environment

· several years of professional experience, ideally including client-facing work, business development, or consultative sales

· someone who understands how legal professionals work and can speak credibly with law firm partners, general counsel, and legal teams

· excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills

· fluent Czech and strong English

· a genuine interest in legal innovation, AI, and the future of legal services

Nice to have

· experience in SaaS, software, legal tech, or professional services sales

· an existing network in the Czech legal market

· experience in legal operations, privacy, compliance, commercial contracts, or related areas

· experience working in an international or cross-border environment
