About the Role
We are looking for a qualified and customer-oriented PRE-SALES SUPPORT ENGINEER to join our European Data Centre Competence Center (DCCC). Reporting to the Engineering and Operations Manager DCCC, you will support Wilo subsidiaries across Region Europe in developing technical and commercial solutions for complex Datacentre applications. You will work closely with country teams, customers, planners, consultant engineers, contractors, operators and end users to help deliver complete Wilo solutions that meet demanding technical, operational and commercial requirements.

This is a highly collaborative position for an engineer who enjoys combining technical expertise with commercial awareness, structured problem-solving and strong communication skills. The role will require a proactive mindset, business understanding and the ability to build trusted relationships across countries and functions.

Your Responsibilities
· Provide technical and commercial support to Wilo subsidiaries across Europe in the preparation of customer offers, including Wilo products as well as relevant third-party materials and services where required.

· Support project development and solution delivery through direct engagement with planners, contractors, operators and end users.

· Prepare reports and provide accurate data, insights and information to support business activities and key stakeholders.

· Participate in go-to-market country meetings and lead technical discussions or sessions where required.

· Analyze regional and country-level project pipelines to identify opportunities for Wilo solutions and support targeted business development activities.

· Manage the DCCC mailbox by assigning enquiries and contacts to the appropriate country teams while providing technical guidance where needed.

· Follow up on DCCC communications issued to country teams to support progress, alignment and successful outcomes.

· Support project documentation requirements and liaise with Group functions to ensure documentation is prepared and delivered on time.

· Collaborate with Wilo Group Engineering to resolve complex pumping and system application challenges and communicate technical solutions clearly.

· Follow up with country teams on RFQs to ensure complete system solutions are considered and submitted, not only individual pump selections.

· Coordinate with 3rd party suppliers on ongoing RFQs to support timely, accurate and complete responses.

What We Are Looking For
· Engineering qualification, ideally in mechanical, building services, HVAC or a related technical discipline.

· Minimum of four years’ experience in a similar technical, application engineering, pre-sales, project engineering or engineered solutions role.

· Strong knowledge of pump systems and its application within engineered solutions.

· Broad understanding of HVAC systems and components, with particular focus on cooling applications.

· Comfortable using relevant business systems and digital tools proficiency in MS Office; experience with CRM and SAP systems is an advantage.

· Strong commercial awareness and good understanding of customer requirements.

· Ability to communicate accurate technical and commercial information clearly to customers and colleagues.

· Customer-focused, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality service and practical solutions.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.

· Flexible and resilient, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

· Confident in handling a high volume of work accurately and acting on your own initiative.

· Collaborative mindset and experience working with multi-functional or international teams.

· Fluent written and spoken English.
