As a System Integration Engineer within the PAY Onboarding team, you will play a critical role in ensuring exceptional customer experience across the company Digital Payment solutions. You will act as a trusted technical partner for customers, guiding them through onboarding, integration and delivery phases deeply understanding their goals, constraints and full ecosystem.
This role goes beyond technical integration as it requires strong customer empathy, curiosity, proactive problem-solving or ability to understand the full picture, anticipate risks, propose effective solutions.
You will work closely with global customers and internal stakeholders to ensure successful, high-quality deliveries and long-term customer satisfaction.
You will be in direct and continuous contact with customers worldwide, representing company with professionalism, ownership and strong customer-first mindset.

A week in the life:

• You develop and maintain deep technical expertise in company’s product and SDKs, enabling you to assemble, configure and deliver solutions efficiently, on time
• You actively engage with customers’ development teams, not only responding to questions, but understanding why the customer is asking it, identifying root causes and addressing the real underlying needs.
• You ensure customers clearly understand PAY concepts, flows, constraints, best practices by delivering: Technical trainings.
• Integration workshops.
• Architecture discussions.
• Hands-on onboarding and technical support sessions.
• You take ownership of customer experience by looking at problems holistically, considering technical, functional, operational, business impacts and proactively proposing mitigations or improvement options.
• You collect, analyze and structure customer feedback and actively collaborate with R&D teams by: Suggesting product enhancements and new features.
• Highlighting recurring integration challenges.
• Representing the customer’s voice in internal discussions.
• You collaborate closely with R&D teams in Europe and Asia, Technical Leaders, Product Management to resolve complex issues and align on deliveries.
• You leverage R&D support when needed for advanced technical topics, such as security discussions or low-level SDK investigations, while remaining accountable for customer communication and follow-up.
• You participate in regular customer meetings, including on-site engagements when required, acting as a professional and reliable company representative.
• You maintain Live customer requests in parallel, providing field support as an L2 support engineer, ensuring stability, continuity and clear communication throughout the lifecycle.

Technical Expertise

• Solid experience in software development and validation, preferably using: Java / Kotlin (Android
• Objective-C / Swift (iOS)
• Strong interest in mobile applications, SDKs and end-to-end integration flows.
• Preferred experience with: Mobile platforms, libraries, tooling.
• SDK development.
• Multiplatform frameworks (e.g. Cordova, React Native, Flutter).
• Experience with using Coding assistants such Claude and AI in general.
• Customer & Communication Skills
• Excellent customer-facing skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly, professionally and empathetically.
• Strong curiosity and analytical mindset: consistently asks “why” to understand the customer’s real need rather than providing answers only.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt communication style to different audiences (developers, architects, product teams, management).

Languages & Education

• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• University degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in software development, system integration, or customer-facing technical roles.
