We are looking for an experienced International Tax Manager🌍 to join the tax function of a leading international real estate and investment group operating across several European markets.

Based at the Group's international headquarters in Prague, you will work closely with the Group Head of Tax on a broad range of international tax matters.

The role offers the opportunity to move beyond a purely advisory environment and take direct ownership of tax projects and their implementation. You will work across corporate and international taxation, transfer pricing, tax structuring, M&A, financing and group tax governance, in cooperation with finance teams and external advisors🧾.

This is a hands-on international tax role. The focus is on understanding tax issues, assessing their business impact, developing practical solutions and supporting implementation.

Main responsibilities

• Support the Group Head of Tax in managing the international tax agenda.
• Develop and maintain group corporate income tax calculation templates and support their implementation across countries.
• Coordinate reviews of current and deferred tax positions and monitor the Group's effective tax rate.
• Support the development and implementation of group tax and transfer pricing policies.
• Coordinate matters related to Pillar Two, Country-by-Country Reporting, transfer pricing documentation and withholding taxes.
• Provide tax support for M&A transactions, financing arrangements and corporate structuring projects.
• Review contracts, agreements and business arrangements from a tax perspective.
• Analyze international tax issues and coordinate solutions with local teams and external advisors.
• Support complex tax matters, tax audits and selected cross-border compliance topics.
• Prepare and maintain standard group templates and supporting documentation.
• Cooperate with auditors, external tax advisors and local tax teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve tax processes, controls and reporting through standardization, automation and better use of data.
• Contribute to other international tax projects and ad hoc initiatives.

🤝The ideal candidate will have:

• 5–7 years of relevant experience, ideally from a Big Four or other leading tax advisory firm, an international in-house tax function, or a combination of both.
• Strong experience in corporate income tax and international taxation.
• Good understanding of accounting, IFRS and deferred tax.
• Experience reviewing or preparing corporate income tax calculations.
• Practical knowledge of international tax principles, double tax treaties and transfer pricing.
• Exposure to M&A, financing or corporate structuring projects.
• Experience reviewing contracts and supporting tax audits.
• The ability to understand foreign tax rules and translate them into practical recommendations.
• A university degree in taxation, finance, accounting, economics, law or a related discipline.
• Fluent English.

Real estate experience is welcome but not required. A Czech tax advisor qualification is also an advantage rather than a requirement.

Broader exposure to VAT, real estate tax or employment-related taxation is useful, but the role focuses primarily on international corporate taxation and group-level tax matters.
