Ready to take your accounting experience into an international environment?
For our client, an international consulting company operating in the real estate sector, we are looking for a new colleague to join its accounting team supporting the EMEA region. 🌍

You don't need years of experience – and you don't need a real estate background.

If you already have some experience with accounting or financial reporting, can communicate confidently in English and want to grow within an international finance environment, this could be a great next step.

Yes, you can work from home 2 days a week🏠. But with this team, spending time in the office with your colleagues might be one of the perks rather than an obligation. ❤️

💼 What will be on your desk?
You will work with colleagues across the EMEA region and gradually take responsibility for a broad range of accounting and reporting activities:

📊 Financial reporting & closing
Support monthly, quarterly and year-end closing and preparation of financial reports.

📚 General Ledger
Work with journal entries, accruals, prepayments and reclassifications.

🔎 Reconciliations & analysis
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, review financial data and investigate discrepancies.

🤝 International cooperation
Work closely with controlling, P2P, O2C and other finance colleagues across the organisation.

🧾 Audit & compliance
Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits and assist with statutory and tax reporting.

⚙️ Processes & systems
Work with ERP systems and Excel and get involved in improving and automating finance processes.

👀 Who are we looking for?
You could be a great match if you:

• Have some previous experience in accounting or financial reporting – even a shorter relevant experience can be enough
• 🇬🇧 Can use English confidently in your daily work
• 🇨🇿 Speak Czech
• Understand basic accounting principles and enjoy working with numbers
• Are comfortable with Excel and ideally have experience with an ERP system
• Are accurate, reliable and able to take ownership of your work
• Enjoy working as part of a team while being able to work independently
• Speak another European language – a nice advantage, but definitely not a must
• And real estate experience? Not required.

We are much more interested in your accounting/reporting experience, language skills and motivation to develop further.
