Do you already have some hands-on experience with SAP or SAP Basis and are you thinking about your next step? Join our SAP Platform Operations team and help clients across the globe keep their SAP platforms secure, available and running smoothly.

We will build an individual training path with you, give you dedicated time for self-education and certification, and pair you with senior colleagues who will guide you day to day. Our goal is simple: to grow you into a more senior SAP Basis specialist within CGI.

Your future duties and responsibilities

· Operating and monitoring SAP systems (SAP ECC, S/4HANA, SAP BTP) under the guidance of senior colleagues

· Resolving standard incidents, service requests and routine changes at SAP Basis level

· Supporting system maintenance activities – patching, kernel and support package updates, client copies, transports

· Contributing to automation, task standardization and documentation of our operational procedures

· Developing your technical skills towards a selected technology domain (SAP HANA, hyperscaler cloud platforms, SAP BTP, security and compliance, or AI-assisted operations)

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

· 1–3 years of experience with SAP Basis or SAP system administration (scope of the role will be set accordingly)

· Basic understanding of SAP HANA (or another database such as Oracle or MS SQL) and of Linux administration (SUSE or Red Hat); Windows Server knowledge is a plus

· Working knowledge of ITIL processes and ITSM tools (e.g. ServiceNow, JIRA); awareness of SAP Cloud ALM or SAP Solution Manager is an advantage

· Interest in cloud fundamentals (Microsoft Azure, AWS or Google Cloud) and in scripting or automation

· Willingness and ability to develop your technical skills long term and to achieve certifications

· Very good written and spoken English

· University degree (Bc. and above) is nice to have
