Bagira is looking for an experienced corporate lawyer who will be the sole legal specialist in the company and the central point of contact for all legal matters.

We are seeking an independent, hands-on lawyer who will act as a true business partner to company leadership and to the procurement, HR, logistics, and finance departments, and who can effectively connect legal expertise with the company’s day-to-day operations.

Reporting Line

The Legal Counsel reports directly to the VP Contracts & General Counsel and works in close cooperation with the Company's central Legal Department in Israel.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day legal support to the Company's local operations under the guidance of the VP Contracts & General Counsel.
• Serve as the primary legal point of contact for local management and business units.
• Collaborate closely with the central Legal team in Israel on strategic legal matters, corporate policies, compliance, and group-wide legal initiatives.
• Coordinate and manage external legal advisors, as required.
• Identify, assess, and escalate significant legal risks and strategic matters to the VP Contracts & General Counsel.
• Deliver practical, business-oriented legal advice that supports the Company's commercial objectives while ensuring legal compliance.

What Awaits You in This Role

Strong contractual agenda:

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a broad range of commercial agreements
• Active support during negotiations with suppliers and business partners
• Close cooperation with procurement in setting up contractual terms

Commercial and corporate law:

• Legal support for the company’s day-to-day operations
• Handling corporate matters, risks, and internal processes
• Assist with compliance initiatives, internal procedures, and implementation of Group legal policies.

Employment law & HR agenda:

• Draft and review employment agreements and amendments.
• Advise HR and management on employment-related matters.
• Support disciplinary procedures, employment policies, and internal guidelines.
• Prepare and update internal legal documentation

Cross-Functional Legal & Business Support

• Support business development activities by identifying government grants, funding opportunities, industrial cooperation programs, and incentive schemes
• Coordinate with external consultants, government authorities, and relevant stakeholders where required
• Lead or support special legal and cross-functional projects assigned by the VP Contracts & General Counsel.

Who We Are Looking For

• An experienced lawyer with proven practice in:

Contract law
Commercial law
Corporate law
Employment law

• At least 3-5 years of relevant experience (in-house or law firm)
• A candidate who:

Has ability to work independently while collaborating closely with the VP Contracts & General Counsel and the global Legal team
Has strong business acumen and a solution-oriented mindset
Can clearly explain legal topics to non-lawyers
Has a very good command of English (daily communication with Israel)
Is confident and reliable business partner across management and all business functions
