Based in Prague, our local team is part of one of the largest confectionery and chewing gum manufacturers in the world, with operations across the globe.
Our Marketing and Commercial teams are eager to team up with you to make sure our delicious fresh makers and sweets are visible, irresistible, and easy to find wherever our consumer’s shop.
 
Where we need you:

• As our new Channel Activation Manager, you will play a key role in bringing our brands to life at the point of sale.
• You will be responsible for creating and executing product visibility strategies across sales channels, translating our marketing and commercial plans into impactful in-store activation. From merchandising standards and assortment recommendations to tailor-made POSM solutions, you will help ensure that our brands stand out where it matters most — in front of our consumers.
• Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Trade Marketing (CEE Cluster – Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia), Category Management, Supply Chain, external agencies, and our customers, you will connect strategy with flawless execution. You will also manage the inventory, logistics, and budget of promotional materials while continuously looking for smarter and more effective activation solutions.

Your core responsibilities at a glance:

• Develop and execute visibility strategies across sales channels.
• Create assortment and planogram recommendations with Category Management.
• Drive merchandising standards and best-in-class in-store execution.
• Develop POSM concepts and manage production, logistics, and inventory end to end.
• Lead tailor-made visibility solutions with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Manage merchandising agencies and evaluate their performance.
• Analyse promotional execution, product rotation, costs, and value opportunities.
• Monitor competitor activities and translate market insights into action.
• Own and manage the Visibility budget within Trade Marketing.

The ideal recipe for our new Channel Activation Manager:

• University degree.
• 2–5 years of experience in Trade Marketing, Channel Activation, Shopper Marketing, or a related FMCG role.
• Fluent Czech/Slovak, English B2 minimum, (Polish is an advantage).
• Strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills.
• Creative, results-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Strong MS Office/Excel skills.
• SAP S/4HANA and Nielsen database experience.
• Driving licence B.
