Our client, a leading international business, is looking for a Category Manager to take ownership of its fast-growing Fresh Food & Coffee category. This is an exciting opportunity to shape one of the most visible foodservice concepts in the Czech market, covering fresh bakery, coffee, food-to-go, and related convenience offerings.

The Role

As Category Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing the category strategy for the Fresh Food & Coffee portfolio. You will work closely with suppliers, marketing teams, and international stakeholders to drive performance, innovation, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category strategies for fresh food, bakery, coffee, and food-to-go products.
• Manage product portfolios, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.
• Lead supplier negotiations and build strong long-term partnerships.
• Identify and launch new products, concepts, and private-label opportunities.
• Monitor consumer trends, competitor activity, and emerging market developments.
• Analyse category performance and identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Space Planning, Operations, and international category teams.
• Contribute to the ongoing development and evolution of the company's foodservice offering across its retail network.

About You

We're looking for a commercially driven professional who can combine strategic thinking, data-driven decision-making, and a strong customer focus.

You will ideally bring:

• Experience in Category Management, Product Management, Buying/Procurement, or a related commercial role.
• Background within retail, FMCG, foodservice, hospitality, convenience retail, or coffee concepts.
• Proven experience negotiating with suppliers and managing commercial partnerships.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action.
• A results-oriented mindset and a focus on driving business performance.
• Creativity and a proactive approach to identifying new opportunities.
• Professional English, Native Czech communication skills for collaboration within an international environment.
