This role is an excellent opportunity for an early-career commercial professional to build broad business experience in commercial planning, go-to-market deployment, trade execution, channel performance management, and cross-functional collaboration.
The Commercial Deployment & Trade Manager supports the translation of business priorities, marketing plans, and sales forecasts into effective operational and trade plans that drive growth, profitability, and strong customer execution. The role offers exposure to multiple parts of the commercial organization and provides a strong foundation for future career growth across commercial, strategy, and related business functions.
Key Responsibilities
Support the design and execution of commercial deployment and trade plans aligned with category, channel, and business priorities.
Translate sales forecasts, marketing plans, and commercial objectives into operational and trade execution plans that support growth, profitability, and resource efficiency.
Monitor channel demand, trade performance, and capacity, recommending corrective actions when results deviate from plan.
Partner with sales, marketing, finance, supply chain, and operations teams to coordinate the delivery of commercial and trade initiatives across the business.
Generate insights from market, customer, and competitive data to identify opportunities, risks, and improvement actions.
Help optimize channel mix, route-to-market execution, and trade deployment to improve consumer reach, conversion, and customer support.
Contribute to business planning cycles, performance reviews, scenario planning, and project prioritization.
Support the development and consistent use of tools, processes, and ways of working that strengthen commercial and trade execution.
Prepare clear updates, dashboards, and recommendations for stakeholders and senior leaders.
Lead or contribute to projects that improve commercial deployment, trade processes, systems, and execution effectiveness.

Qualifications
Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Relevant experience in commercial planning, trade marketing, sales operations, category management, marketing, finance, business analysis, or a similar commercial function.
Strong analytical skills and confidence working with forecasts, performance data, and business insights.
Understanding of go-to-market principles, trade execution, and how commercial plans translate into business results.
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally, manage competing priorities, and deliver in a structured way.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to turn analysis into clear recommendations.
Learning agility, curiosity, and a strong interest in building a broad commercial career.
Experience in FMCG, consumer goods, retail, omnichannel, or similarly fast-paced commercial environments is an advantage.
