What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Financial Accountant within our Plugsurfing division and is located in Prague. In this role, you will have full accountability of your responsibility areas and work closely with the rest of the Finance team to ensure high-quality accounting data to support business decisions and meet the company’s compliance requirements. You will be responsible for the Accounts Payables for Plugsurfing and ensure correct and timely payments and payments reconciliation. Also, you will assist the month end works and ERP efficiency improvements projects.

You will report to the Team Lead Accounting and regularly collaborate with the Finance team and other departments.

Role Responsibilities 

• The responsibilities of the role will include:
• Assure end-to-end management of accounts payables, including timely payments, payment reconciliations
• Leading the statutory monthly closing process and validation of the financial data
• Working closely with the rest of the Finance Team to ensure high-quality monthly financial information
• Allocating payments of the suppliers payments
• Developing and maintaining accounting processes together with the finance team to meet company targets and compliance requirements
• Participating and supporting the Plugsurfing audit activities (e.g. year end audits) and development projects
• Supporting the Finance team with ad hoc analysis and reporting as needed
• Drive continuous improvement of our ERP D365 for AP and other automation initiaitives

Qualifications & Skills

• You are fluent in English (at least B2 level), German is an additional asset
• You are an experienced Financial Accountant with a proven history of delivering and maintaining accurate and compliant accounting performance
• You have 2 + years of professional experience
• You have worked with accounts payable
• You have strong accounting skills and a can-do attitude with attention to details
• Our main ERP is Dynamics D365 so experience with Dynamics, Navision or Business Central is very beneficial
• An understanding of indirect (VAT) taxation is a very strong asset
• You have high accuracy when working with data
• You are able to work fast and accurate
• You are energetic, resourceful, and do what it takes to get the job done
• Other ERP experiences are welcome
