We are looking for a skilled Quality & Compliance Manager to play a key role in ensuring excellence in quality standards, regulatory compliance, and continuous process improvement within a dynamic and international environment.
This role is responsible for ensuring that all activities within the scope meet the required quality standards, minimize quality costs and maximise customer satisfaction by ensuring that procedures and processes are adhered to.
In this role, you’ll be a key partner in shaping and strengthening our quality standards, compliance framework, and continuous improvement culture across the Service Centre. You’ll work closely with operations, leadership, and stakeholders to ensure processes meet regulatory, audit, and internal excellence standards.
MAJOR GOALS / RESPONSIBILITIES for the role
- Managing, coordinating Quality activity in Prague SC.
- Define, implement and optimize the internal Quality organization:
- Define and follow-up ways of measure non-quality cost.
- Define, redact and implement or keep up-to-date procedures and work instructions.
- Support the implementation and supervision of the proper use of tools for continuous improvement. Such as Short Interval Meeting, SMED.
- Manage and coordinate activity related to CQM certification. Including the follow-up of CQM action plan.
- Ensuring ISO 9001:2008, ISO14001, OHSAS-18001 together with CQM certification when requested.
- Improve the Quality in Prague site:
- Support Production Manager to reduce their CPMS to reach goals set by Service Line.
- Follow-up of Correction Actions defined and/or implemented and evaluation of their efficiency.
- Supervise the proper use of Lightening Tool (SalesForce) tool.
- Reports actively weekly and monthly to Production Manager
- Supervise the Physical Security activity of each site, including reporting, to be in accordance with Corporate expectations:
- Daily operations are under Quality and Compliance Manager responsibility.
- Supervise the respect of deadline for regular reporting.
- Follow-up of action plan from audits and correction/closure of non-compliances.
- Follow-up of administrative tasks related to audit planning and responses to scheme.
Tasks to be executed
- Reports
- Preparing weekly and monthly reports,
- Initiate corrective action plan with the team,
- Initiate a non-quality cost reports and follow-up,
- nitiate CAPEX and/or OPEX related to Quality.
- People management
- No direct management of human resources
- Coaching/Cooperating with Production Manager on Quality & Security topics.
- Organize regular communucation with Production Manager
- Quality assurance / improvements:
- Ensuring ISO 9001:2008, ISO14001, OHSAS-18001 together with CQM certification when requested,
- Handle Non Compliances (internal and external audits),
- Continuously looking for efficiency improvements.
- Security compliance:
- Ensuring and maintaining VISA, MC and other specific / local scheme certification,
- Handle Non Compliances (internal and external audits) with his team, until the completion of the related corrective actions,
- Ensuring and maintaining Business Continuity Plan(BCP).
- General:
- Involvement in root cause analyses for all cases (complaint handling),
- Member of the Security Management Group,
- Support all departments.
Profile & Other Information
- Qualifications
- Engineering background, degree or equivalent. Experienced people with other high background are welcome.
- Experience in strong Quality Environment. Experience with ISO9001 or ISO TS Quality Management Systems being a plus.
- Further qualifications in and/or practitioner of best practice methodologies: PDCA, Lean, 5S, Kaizen, 6 Sigma.
- Fluent English and Czech language. Knowledge of the French language is a plus.
- Experience
- OT Company experience with a practical and successful experience as site manager or quality manager of a Service Centre (3 years minimum).
- Management of teams / strong leadership of multi-cultural teams in the OT environment.
- Practical experience of successful use of best practice methodologies: Lean, 5S, Kaizen, 6 Sigma.
- Personal skills
- Strong communication skills including coordination, influencing and persuading skills.
- Leading and management skills.
- Ability to work with all kinds and levels of people in the organization and especially Matrix organization.
- Ability to engage and build teams.
