Join us in creating an unforgettable winter season in Lapland for 2026 - 2027!

Several of our partners in Lapland are looking for experienced kitchen professionals for the winter season. Our goal is to find a position that matches your preferences.

We are hiring for a variety of kitchen roles:

à la carte, buffet, breakfast, pizza, burger, and assistant chef positions. If you have experience in any of these areas, we would be happy to hear from you! We are also recruiting for supervisory roles such as Head Chef and Kitchen Manager.

Employment duration:

We aim to find a working period that suits you. Positions typically start between October and December and end between March and April. Some employees work only during the busiest Christmas season.

Location:

Jobs are located across Lapland, especially in villages near ski resorts. Some locations are lively and cater to younger travelers, while others offer peace and quiet in the heart of nature. Locations include Rovaniemi, Levi, Ranua, Luosto, Ruka, Ylläs, Saariselkä, Utsjoki, and Kemi.

Working hours:

Typical contracts range from 90 to 112.5 hours per 3 weeks, averaging approximately 30-37.5 hours per week.

Salary:

Wages typically range from 13€ to 20€ per hour depending on the role and your experience, plus additional compensation such as double pay on Sundays and public holidays, as well as evening and night shift bonuses in accordance with collective labour agreements.

Accommodation:

Accommodation is usually arranged by us Bolt or the client company. Options typically include shared rooms or, where possible, single rooms with shared facilities. Rent generally ranges from 250€ to 550€ depending on the accommodation.

Working environment:

The busiest periods are Christmas and the school winter holidays in February. The number of shifts varies depending on demand. Lapland winters are cold, with temperatures typically ranging from -5°C to -30°C, and wind chill can make it feel even colder. Commuting often involves walking short distances outdoors in freezing conditions.
