The Opportunity

Join our cRSP security team as a Security Engineer. Key use cases are Remote Servicing, Monitoring and File Transfer. Our platform is used by various big industrial customers to manage, audit and maintain their devices in the field in a simple and secure way. Contribute to a cutting-edge IoT platform used by leading industrial customers.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Identify and classify security vulnerabilities in networks, systems and applications and mitigate or eliminate their impact
• Maintain an automated vulnerability report creation
• Assist with continuous integration of development projects into a secure development lifecycle – branch creation of various projects in an automated way
• Accompany external penetration tests including measure plans to avoid potential security leeks and findings
• Regular check of a code quality with respect of secure coding by usage of static code analysis
• including fixes and regular exchange with the development team to reduce technical debts and to fix security hotspots
• Analyze the operational impact of security tools and assist with configuration
• Assisting with Patch and Vulnerability Management
• Assisting with security risk management by performing product and service risk assessment or on site audits against operational aspects of the ISO27001, IEC standard
• Investigating security incidents, producing reports, presenting findings, making and managing remedial action recommendations, identifying root cause and managing activities to prevent recurrence

Who Are We Looking For

• Bash/Python programming for automating secure operation processes
• Experience in security incident management including liaison with external customers and internal teams
• Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, ISO27001) knowledge
• Linux and network fundamentals; ability to analyze resource usage of security tools
• Secure coding reviews knowledge with Java, Python, and C; plus/flexible
• Continuous integration tools: SonarQube, GIT, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins
• Ability to work in an international, agile team; strong communication in security meetings
• Proactive documentation of security configurations and related tooling
• Full working profiency in English language. Czech and German language skills are considered as a plus.
