The Opportunity

We're looking for a System Administrator to join our sysadmin team in České Budějovice. In this role, you'll work closely with our existing AWS infrastructure and Kubernetes environment, helping to operate, maintain, and continuously improve our cloud platform.

You'll be hands-on with cloud-native technologies, supporting the administration and optimization of AWS services, managing Kubernetes clusters, and assisting with application deployments and CI/CD processes. You'll monitor system performance, analyze logs, troubleshoot incidents, and contribute to improving reliability, security, and scalability across our environment.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with modern infrastructure, containerized workloads, and DevOps practices — and who wants to actively contribute to the stability and technical growth of our platform.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Operation and administration of infrastructure, network elements, and servers in AWS
• Operation and administration of Kubernetes clusters in AWS EKS
• Support for the development team in preparing applications and deploying them to Kubernetes
• Ensuring high availability and scalability of systems
• Ensuring a high level of system security
• Monitoring operations, analyzing logs
• Resolving incidents, including on-call duties

Who Are We Looking For

People who can drive positive change, step up and show what’s next – people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow. In practice this means, you have experience with:

• Internet and networks - TCP/IP, routing, DNS, firewalls, application protocols (HTTP, SMTP)
• Linux (we use Debian distribution), advanced knowledge
• Programming and scripting, especially Bash
• Kubernetes
• Docker, creating images for containers
• Databases, SQL
• Fluent in Czech

We Also Welcome Experience With

• AWS cloud and Kubernetes in AWS (EKS)
• Ansible and automation
• PostgreSQL - cluster operation and administration
• Monitoring and metric collection using Prometheus
• IT security - advanced Linux security, VPN, IDS/IPS, WAF
