Who we are looking for:

• Optimize the supplier portfolio to ensure delivery reliability and cost efficiency
• Handle supplier setup, update master data, and manage ongoing supplier issues
• Request, review, and compare supplier offers; prepare sourcing tables and coordinate with departments to finalize awards.
• Monitor project progress and ensure up-to-date status reporting.
• Secure supply chain resilience and traceability.
• Prepare, support, and execute price and contract negotiations.
• Create and maintain project-related price overviews for budget planning.
• Identify and classify materials and define purchasing groups.
• Maintain info records in ERP systems (e.g., SAP), including pricing, supplier data, and delivery terms.
• Perform BANF validation to verify purchase requisition data for completeness and accuracy.
• Conduct initial invoice reviews and material setups in ERP systems.
• Collaborate closely with other departments and work in cross-functional project teams.
• Participate actively in project meetings and support program management in meeting project budgets and timelines.

Job requirements:

• Successfully completed technical or commercial education with a strong affinity for technology
• Several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing within an international company, ideally in the field of composite materials and automotive
• Excellent MS Office skills, SAP R/3 knowledge is an advantage
• Fluent in English, and preferably German written and spoken
• Strong negotiation skills, communication and interpersonal skills
• Analytical and conceptual thinking with a structured and goal-oriented working style
• Team player with flexibility, high commitment, and willingness to travel (approximately 20%)
