About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Technical Sales Support Manager to join our Wyma Europe team, based in Prague, Czech Republic. This is a key leadership position within our commercial organisation. You’ll lead the Technical Sales Support team – made up of Technical Sales Managers and a Sales Coordinator – to ensure that our sales team has the right tools, processes, and technical solutions to deliver exceptional customer outcomes. As a trusted partner to the Commercial Director, you’ll contribute directly to sales strategy, lead complex solution sales, and ensure alignment across Wyma’s wider teams — from Engineering and Project Delivery to Operations, Finance and Service.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead, coach, and develop the Technical Sales Support team to achieve excellence and continuous improvement.
· Partner with Territory Managers to design tailored technical solutions for customers.
· Lead complex technical sales processes, including pricing, negotiation, and contract closing.
· Oversee preparation of technical content for proposals and contracts (e.g. P&IDs, process flow diagrams, technical write-ups).
· Collaborate closely with Engineering, Project Delivery, and Service teams to ensure solution integrity and smooth project handover.
· Support Marketing with technical input for brochures, white papers, videos, and trade shows.
· Provide competitor and market insights to inform business planning and product development.
· Drive continuous improvement in tools, systems, and sales processes.
· Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and accountability.
What You’ll Bring
· Proven leadership experience in technical sales, sales support, or solution engineering.
· A degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
· Strong technical understanding combined with commercial acumen.
· Excellent communication skills in English and German (both fluent).
· Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical sales projects and customer relationships.
· Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
· High IT literacy (MS Office, CRM, ERP; 3D software - Inventor).
· Flexible, resilient, and comfortable working in an international environment.
