On behalf of our client, a well-established global international company operating in the real estate / professional services sector, we are currently seeking an experienced AP Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end responsibility for the Procure to Pay (P2P) process
• Posting and processing incoming invoices, including validation and compliance with internal policies
• Preparation and execution of payment runs
• Resolution of discrepancies in cooperation with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Maintenance of vendor master data
• Participation in monthly and annual closing activities
• Support during internal and external audits
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
• Active involvement in process improvements and automation initiatives within P2P

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in accounting, preferably as a P2P / AP Accountant
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, especially AP and P2P processes
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics – an advantage)
• English language skills at a communicative level (used on a daily basis)
• Strong attention to detail and structured working style
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
