For our client, a leading international company, REED is currently looking for an experienced professional for the position of Senior GL Accountant to join their EMEA Accounting team. As a Senior GL Accountant you will be responsible for:

• Managing day-to-day financial accounting processes for EMEA entities
• Actively participating in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing
• Reviewing Balance Sheet and P&L accounts to identify trends or discrepancies
• Assisting with account reconciliations in Blackline and ensuring compliance with company policies
• Providing advice to stakeholders based on expertise
• Supporting SAP conversion projects and integration initiatives
• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely accounting results
• Coordinating and monitoring internal and external audit requests

You should match these criteria:

• Degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification (US GAAP knowledge required)
• Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience in an international or multi-subsidiary environment
• Inventory accounting experience is a great advantage
• Knowledge of SAP is a must
• Strong organizational skills, proactive and results-oriented
• Excellent English communication skills (additional European language is an advantage)
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail
