We’re looking for a motivated and analytical OPEX & LEAN JUNIOR ENGINEER (M/F/D) to join our team in Tlumačov, Czech Republic and help drive continuous improvement across our plant.

LOCATION: Tlumačov, Czech Republic (on-site)

AS AN OPEX & LEAN JUNIOR ENGINEER, YOU WILL:

• Support the implementation of Lean and OPEX projects (Kaizen workshops, Gemba walks, 5S+2 events, TPM, SMED).
• Motivate and coordinate teams during improvement activities, fostering engagement and collaboration.
• Assist in Lean and continuous improvement initiatives, including training sessions for shop floor employees.
• Maintain and update process documentation and internal communication (e.g., Yammer) to share best practices.
• Schedule and conduct audits (ISO 9001, 5S+2, Gemba, Process Layer) as part of the Quality/OPEX team.
• Report OPEX KPIs at a global level (maturity assessments, certifications, 5S+2 scores).
• Support quality/OPEX software management (Safety Culture, QT9, SAP, Smartsheet).
• Act as a contact point for OPEX/Lean activities in assigned areas.

WHAT YOU BRING:

• Recent graduate or candidate with relevant internships in engineering, operations, or quality.
• Technical mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement concepts (a plus).
• Proficiency in MS Office; exposure to ERP systems is an advantage.
• Very good communication skills in English (B2 level) and Czech (C2 level) – MUST HAVE.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and stay focused under pressure.
