We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer for our client, a leading multinational company with a strong presence in the construction industry.

We are seeking an experienced financial leader to take responsibility for managing and developing the financial agenda of the Czech subsidiary and to act as a key business partner to the Managing Director in all strategic decisions.

Main Responsibilities
• Comprehensive management of the company’s finance function in the Czech Republic – accounting, controlling, receivables, procurement, and tax agenda.
• Strategic financial planning – budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Process optimization and implementation of control mechanisms – improving accounting, controlling, and purchasing processes; ensuring compliance with Czech legislation and group policies.
• Reporting to local and group management – monthly and quarterly results, variance analysis, and profitability commentary.
• Supporting strategic management decisions – financial modeling, investment evaluation, pricing policy, and project ROI.
• Managing relationships with banks and auditors – liquidity planning, financing, and audit coordination.
• Leading and developing the finance team – managing accounting, controlling, procurement, and tax departments; motivating and mentoring team members.
• Collaboration with the group headquarters and foreign colleagues – sharing know-how, implementing global projects, and driving digitalization initiatives.

Requirements
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking, with the ability to drive change and process improvement.
• Deep understanding of corporate finance, accounting, and controlling.
• Proven leadership and people management skills, fostering an open communication culture and team motivation.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to build respected relationships across the company.
• Innovative, business-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to process optimization.
• Very good command of English; native Czech; another language is an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office 365; SAP knowledge (FI/CO module) is an advantage.
• Solid understanding of the Czech market; experience in a manufacturing construction-related company is highly desirable.
