We’re a forward-thinking company based in New Zealand, partnering with a top-tier development firm in Prague to build a powerful, custom configurator. We're on the hunt for a skilled Python Developer based in Europe to work closely with both teams and help shape a unique, technically ambitious product.

The Role
This is more than just a coding job — you’ll play a key role in bridging the communication and technical gap between our NZ-based core team and the Prague-based devs. Expect a wide range of coding challenges involving a custom codebase built largely on Python, with opportunities to influence the direction and structure of a truly bespoke solution.

What You’ll Do

Develop and maintain code in a custom framework built largely on Python

Tackle unique technical challenges that demand creative, practical solutions

Collaborate daily with the Prague-based external development team

Act as a key link between our internal and external teams, both technically and communicatively

Spend approximately 3 months in Prague for onboarding and training

Make regular follow-up trips to Prague for ongoing in-person collaboration

What You’ll Need

Strong Python development skills (3+ years recommended)

Experience working with custom or unconventional codebases

Excellent English and communication skills — written and verbal

Ability to analyze and solve complex problems independently

Must be based in Europe and have valid working rights

Must be able to travel freely within Europe and to Prague

Should live within reasonable distance of a major travel hub (e.g., near a major airport)

Bonus: Knowledge of structural steel workflows or engineering principles
