Position Overview:

We are seeking a driven individual for the Finance Controller role. As part of our high-performing Controller Team, you will work independently, advising, analyzing, and following up on financial information. Your responsibilities will include proactive analysis, involvement in monthly closings, and driving forecast and budget processes. You will also continuously improve work methods and processes both individually and within the team, locally and globally.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the integrity and reliability of financial and operating results for reporting and forecasting purposes.
• Prepare annual, quarterly, and monthly forecasts for our local corporate functions.
• Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support. Incl. calculation and allocation of correct accruals for month end closing.
• Data check between different system
• Deliver accurate, insightful, and timely analysis of financial results against plans, forecasts, and budgets.
• Participate in the design, development, and implementation of performance and business intelligence management tools incl. usage of AI in Finance.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Complete ad hoc reports/analysis as necessary by using HFM and other management reporting tools.
• Support and participate in in- and external audits, if needed also SOX control processes.

Key Competencies:

• Proficiency in MS Office suite applications.
• Good technical skills in databases
• Good understanding of HFM applications and upload functionality
• Awareness and understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards.
• Understanding of Internal Controls (SOX)
• ExperiencedERP user
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Business mindedQualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• Several years (+5) of experience in similar roles.
• Strong communication skills in English (German language skills would be welcome but are not a must)
