Overview
IDC is seeking a talented and hands-on AI Engineer to lead our growing product and data team. This role will be central to designing and deploying AI-powered applications that transform how we generate insights and deliver value to clients.

You will work closely with engineering leads, analysts, and stakeholders to build real-world solutions using Python and modern tooling.

• Familiarity with software testing practices and tools like pytest.
• Experience working with API's and production-grade systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI applications using Python frameworks.
• Build Robust APIs and services using tools like FastAPI and Pydantic.
• Implement automated testing strategies (e.g. pytest) to ensure reliability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate models into production systems
• Maintain and scale AI pipelines in cloud environments
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.
• Stay current on advancements in AI/ML tools and share best practices with the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5+ years of experience in software or AI/ML application development.
• Proficient in Python, with experience in Pydantic, FastAPI, or similar frameworks
• Preferred work model: hybrid or remote
• Travel less than 5%
