INVESTMENT ANALYST

Location: Prague

We are looking for an experienced analyst to strengthen our ARETE team with their investment analysis and portfolio management skills. This position requires the ability to lead complex financial analysis, manage and optimize investment strategies, and actively participate in transaction processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed investment analysis across various projects & portfolios and asset classes, while continuously refining financial models.
• Manage rental portfolios, develop sensitivity models, and provide insights to shape investment strategies.
• Collaborate in designing investment strategies, engage in predictive modeling at the portfolio level, and conduct scenario analyses for new products.
• Analyze emerging markets, identify key investment factors, and standardize research methodologies through comprehensive market and sector analysis.
• Work closely with asset management, development, and APM teams to prepare and enhance analytical tools.
• Prepare and review documentation for external valuators, assist with communication, and evaluate outputs.
• Assess and recommend risk mitigation measures.
• Plan, manage, and execute analytical projects aimed at enhancing internal processes and tools.
• Produce detailed reports, investment memoranda, transaction documentation, and presentations
• Working closely across departments and with senior management

Requirements:

• Bachelor´s degree in finance, economics, or related field
• Minimum 3 years' of business analysis experience, preferably within real estate, private equity,
  finance, or controlling sectors
• Proven ability to create and use financial models, interpret outputs
• Professional qualifications (e.g. CFA, CBAP, CIPM, MRICS, ACCA) is plus
• Strong knowledge of and interest in the real estate market
• High level analytical thinking
• Presentation and communication skills
• Proactive approach to problem solving, ability to propose solutions
• High ethical standards and the ability to work independently with diligence and responsibility.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office (XLS, PBI)
• English: advanced level both verbal and written
