Job Description
We would like to welcome in our team a new motivated technical architect eager to work with our engineers on innovative, cloud native, payment solutions to address global market requirements and client-specific demands. In our team, you will be working together with our team of technical architects and DevOps experts on growing and supporting mission-critical payment processing applications and their supporting ecosystems. You will take part on our continuous drive for improvement and efficiency gains in our processes, you will help us to ensure that our solutions scale, are robust and reliable. You will get ample opportunity to learn various technologies in practice and develop deep levels of understanding as part of various troubleshooting sessions with our engineers.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Getting familiar with the technical architecture or of our application, the cloud infrastructure and technologies we are using
• Participating in the maintenance of our cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP) and DevOps / GitOps pipelines
• Participating in technical workshops with top tier global banks
• Contribute to creative stress-testing of our application in demanding situations and participate in troubleshooting
• Optimizing automated failover procedures across multi-cloud environments
• As your experience and knowledge grows, we will be expecting you to
o Contribute to the development of the applications by providing architectural guidance to developers in terms of technical design and helping us to achieve our goals in terms of RPO, RTO, performance etc.
o Participate in technical and design reviews
o Participate in sizing and preparation of new cloud deployments and providing consultancy to our customers

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Ability to rapidly learn new technologies (in the area of AI, cloud and massive distributed processing) and keep asking the right questions
• Very good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Good presentation skills
• Ability to flexibly work in international, globally distributed team
• Systematic approach to problem solving and documentation of concepts, designs and configuration artefacts
• Familiarity with application architecture, integration patterns
• Knowledge of data modelling and basic UML Modeling (class model, state transition diagram, activity diagram, use-case diagram, sequence diagram)
• Some level of programming experience – basic SQL and at least one other programming language (preferably java)
• Aptitude to utilize Unix/Linux command line and at least basic scripting skills (Python is considered advantage)
• Willingness to effectively leverage LLM-based tools in productive workflows
