Position Description
As a Senior Quality Assurance Manager, you will lead quality assurance strategy, governance, and delivery across IT products and client implementation programs within a multicultural and geographically distributed environment. You will be responsible for defining and driving QA processes, standards, methodologies, and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, Architects, Project Managers, and client stakeholders to ensure high-quality product delivery aligned with business objectives.
You will also oversee QA planning, estimation, execution, reporting, and team leadership while promoting best practices in both manual and automated testing approaches.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Define and improve QA strategy, standards, processes, and best practices
• Lead QA activities across the full SDLC, including planning, execution, reporting, and release readiness
• Ensure appropriate test coverage across functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing
• Monitor QA progress, risks, issues, and quality metrics, escalating where required
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including automation and quality engineering practices
• Lead and coordinate distributed QA teams across multiple regions and time zones
• Mentor and support QA team members in applying effective QA methodologies and standards
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Project Managers, Delivery Managers, Developers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on quality objectives
• Support defect management, test traceability, and QA governance activities

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• 7+ years of experience in QA management, software testing, or IT delivery quality assurance
• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery models
• Strong tester mindset with analytical thinking, attention to detail, curiosity, and problem-solving skills
• Experience defining and improving QA processes and governance practices
• Hands-on experience with Jira, X-Ray, Confluence, MS Project, and related QA tools
• Strong leadership, planning, stakeholder management, and communication skills
Experience working with distributed and multicultural teams
• Ability to work effectively in complex and fast-paced environments
• Native/Fluent Czech is a must

Preferred Attributes:
• Experience with test automation frameworks and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices
Knowledge of quality engineering and DevOps methodologies
