We are looking for a Molecular Biologist to join our team at Bene Meat.

About the Role

You will play a key role in developing cell-cultured meat technology, working with cloning, gene editing, and cell culture workflows in a collaborative, non-hierarchical environment.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

• Expertise in standard cloning techniques (restriction-digest, Gibson Assembly)
• Plasmid and primer design
• Hands-on experience with DNA/RNA extraction, conventional PCR, qPCR
• Experience with CRISPR/Cas9 or other target gene editing strategies, including target selection, gRNA design, and validation assays
• Aseptic mammalian cell culture (including organoids and 3D structure cultivations)
• Cell transfection (electroporation, lipofection, or viral vector transduction)
• Statistical analysis and data processing
• A passion for being part of a new technology
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

• DNA and RNA sequencing workflow experience (NGS library preparation and data analysis)
• Protein expression and analysis (Western Blot, SDS-PAGE, ELISA)
• Deeper knowledge of cell metabolism and bioenergetics
