About the Role & Team
Join the Digital Fulfillment team to help build and run the identity and fulfillment services that every IDC customer and employee depends on to access our products.

You'll work on IDC's authentication platform, along with the authorization and fulfillment services that manage user access, provisioning, and entitlements for all client-facing applications, including IDC Quanta. This is a high-visibility, foundational role: if these services are unavailable, no one can use IDC services.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain authentication and authorization services supporting IDC's customer-facing and internal applications.
• Maintain fulfillment services that manage user access, licensing, and account provisioning across IDC products. AI-assisted development is the default, and you are expected to work fluently with Claude Code across all software engineering phases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and Quality Assurance (QA) engineers, to deliver reliable identity and fulfillment capabilities.
• Write and maintain technical documentation for services, Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), and support runbooks. Implement secure coding practices to safeguard customer and employee data.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of development experience in Java, with Spring Framework. Experience with PostgreSQL is a plus.
• Experience with authentication/authorization technologies (Single Sign-On, OAuth, identity providers) is a plus. Experience with Application Programming Interface (API) design and microservices.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Familiarity with any cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). Familiarity with Angular or willingness to learn the technology.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills; adaptability to learn new technologies.
• Communicative proficiency in English.
