Key Responsibilities

Statutory Financial Reporting & Audit Liaison
● Prepare and finalize the local Trial Balance and financial statements (including the Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Statement, and comprehensive Notes to the Financial Statements) based on SAP data and local accounting standards (e.g., Czech Accounting Standards / IFRS) .
● Act as the primary point of contact for local statutory external auditors, coordinating all audit-related activities, data provision, and follow-up on open tasks.
● Identify and process necessary management adjustment entries to ensure the accuracy of financial records.
Tax & Transfer Pricing Compliance
● Responsible for Corporate income tax filing.
● Perform detailed book-to-tax reconciliations (including the verification of temporary and permanent differences) to ensure a robust reconciliation between statutory accounting profit and taxable income and monitor overall tax compliance.
● Collaborate on completing transfer pricing (TP) reporting templates, questionnaires, and documentation, following instructions from the Group Tax Manager and Finance Manager, and provide status updates to external auditors.
Group Consolidation Support
● Preparation of the reporting package of the local entity for group audit.
● Support communication and liaison with other subsidiaries and external auditors regarding consolidation data as needed.
Fixed Assets & General Accounting
● Manage the full lifecycle of fixed assets in the system, including posting fixed asset-related invoices, creating new asset codes, clearing Construction in Progress (CIP) accounts, and running monthly depreciation in accordance with company accounting policies.
Statutory Statistical Reporting
● Responsible for following up and handling official clarification requests and inquiries regarding submitted reports.
● Periodic Reporting to the Czech Statistical Office (Český statistický úřad): Regularly submit corresponding reports in accordance with the requirements of the Czech Statistical Office.

Qualifications
Education: Degree in Accounting, Financial Management, Economics, or related fields .
● Work Experience: 3+ years of full-set accounting experience in a manufacturing entity; hands-on experience in local statutory finance and taxation, or audit/professional services experience at a Big 4 accounting firm or other professional service supplier is preferred .
● Professional Skills:
● Familiar with local (e.g., Czech/European) accounting standards and corporate income tax laws.
● Proficient in the SAP system (mastery of the FICO module and data extraction/retrieval logic for various reports).
● Strong capabilities in data analysis, book-to-tax reconciliation, and independently handling full-set accounting.

● Excellent cross-team and external third-party (auditors, tax advisors, statistical office, affiliated companies) communication, coordination, and "translation" (bridging) capabilities.
● Language Requirements: Native Czech/Slovak speaker with a good command of English (B2 level).
