We are seeking a motivated and proactive IT Applications Support Specialist to join our IT team. The successful candidate will provide application support for a range of enterprise business systems and contribute to digital transformation initiatives across the organisation.

This role is ideal for an IT professional with some experience in application support, ERP systems, databases, integrations, or business process automation. Candidates with SAP S/4HANA support experience are preferred; however, individuals who demonstrate a strong willingness to learn SAP and other enterprise applications are also encouraged to apply.

The position offers excellent opportunities to develop expertise in ERP systems, business process management, workflow automation, system integration, and business analysis.

Key Responsibilities

ERP & Business Application Support

• Provide first and second-line support for SAP S/4HANA or other ERP applications.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application-related incidents and service requests.
• Support system configuration changes, master data maintenance, and user administration activities.
• Assist with testing, upgrades, and deployment of application enhancements.
• Liaise with end users, vendors, and technical teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
• Create and maintain support documentation and knowledge base articles.

Application & Process Management Support

• Support business applications used across the organisation.
• Assist in supporting Business Process Management (BPM) solutions.
• Support Document Management Systems (DMS), including Oracle DMS.
• Support expense and travel management systems such as SAP Concur.
• Participate in process improvement and system optimisation initiatives.

Integration, Data & Automation Support

• Support application integrations using APIs and web services.
• Work with common data formats such as JSON and XML.
• Assist in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data migration activities.
• Support Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions and workflow automation initiatives.
• Monitor data interfaces and investigate integration failures.

Business Analysis Support

• Work closely with business users to understand operational requirements.
• Assist in gathering, documenting, and analysing business requirements.
• Support process mapping and business process improvement activities.
• Participate in digital transformation and automation projects.
• Contribute to solution evaluations, testing, and implementation activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

Basic understanding of:

• Enterprise business applications
• ERP systems (SAP preferred)
• Databases and SQL basics
• ETL concepts and data processing
• APIs and system integration
• JSON and XML data formats
• Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
• IT infrastructure fundamentals (servers, networks, cloud concepts)
• Application support and troubleshooting methodologies

Experience

• Experience in IT application support, ERP support, or related IT roles.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, or other ERP systems is desirable.
• Graduates or junior candidates with relevant technical knowledge and a willingness to learn are welcome to apply.
• Business Analyst experience is advantageous but not essential.
