The BI Analyst is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of the company’s business intelligence reporting suite, primarily using Power BI. The role involves extracting and manipulating data from core databases, conducting ad-hoc financial and operational analysis via Excel, and managing process workflows within internal systems. The goal is to provide accurate, timely, and actionable insights to support strategic and operational decision-making across the organization.

1. Business Intelligence & Reporting

• Design, develop, and deploy user-friendly Power BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements.
• Maintain, update, and troubleshoot existing Power BI reports and underlying data models.
• Optimize data visualization and usability to ensure high adoption rates among internal users.

2. Ad-hoc Analysis

• Execute rapid, high-priority ad-hoc data analysis in MS Excel to support immediate business requests.
• Translate raw datasets into clean, digestible summaries and presentations for stakeholders.

3. Process Workflow & System Administration

• Configure, monitor, and manage process workflows within the internal system.
• Ensure seamless data flow between operational workflows and analytics databases.
• Troubleshoot system/workflow errors and proactively propose automation opportunities.

Technical Skills:

• Power BI Suite: Advanced knowledge of Desktop, Service, DAX, and Power Query.
• Understanding of statistical analysis, A/B testing and campaign evaluation.
• Knowledge of Python, ETL tools or workflow automation tools.
• MS Excel: Advanced proficiency (VBA/macros is an advantage, lookups, pivot tables, Power Pivot are a must).
• Database Language: Solid command of SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Systems Literacy: Proven ability to quickly master and manage internal workflow platforms.
