Senior Business Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst who can turn business needs into clear, structured and evidence‑based requirements. In this role, you will work closely with business leaders, architects and technology teams to analyse processes, data and controls, identify improvement opportunities and support strategic change across the organisation.

What you can expect

• Business partnership — Build trusted relationships with business areas, understand their goals and challenges, and help uncover the real underlying business needs.

• Requirements management — Elicit, analyse and document functional and non‑functional requirements, business rules and dependencies. Prepare clear use cases, user stories and acceptance criteria for delivery teams.

• Process analysis — Map current and target processes, roles, controls and data flows. Perform root‑cause and gap analysis and identify opportunities to simplify, standardise, automate and scale operations.

• Architecture alignment — Collaborate with Enterprise, Business Process and Solution Architects to ensure changes align with agreed principles, standards and target operating models.

• Cross‑functional collaboration — Work with IT Analysts, Developers, QA and Data experts on specifications, wireframes, test scenarios and other delivery artefacts.

• Data & controls — Capture business data requirements, quality expectations and reporting needs in cooperation with Data Governance and data owners.

• Prioritisation support — Structure change requests, analyse value, urgency and risk, and support transparent prioritisation by business owners.

• Stakeholder communication — Facilitate workshops, resolve ambiguity and communicate complex topics in clear business language.

• Documentation — Maintain high‑quality analysis artefacts: requirements, process maps, user journeys, decision logs and change impacts.

• Strategic contribution — Support initiatives that strengthen operational efficiency, client service, scalability and digital enablement.

What we except

• Education in business administration, finance, economics, information systems or similar — or equivalent experience.

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Senior BA in complex, regulated and cross‑functional environments.

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to distinguish root causes from symptoms.

• Hands‑on experience with business analysis and process‑modelling techniques (BPMN, user stories, process‑mapping tools).

• Understanding of enterprise technology landscapes, data concepts and integrations.

• Excellent facilitation and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to challenge assumptions constructively.

• High standards of documentation, structure and traceability.

• Commercial judgement and the ability to assess value, risk, client impact and dependencies.

• Curiosity, adaptability and a continuous‑improvement mindset.

• Fluent English.

• Experience in insurance, reinsurance or financial services is a strong advantage.
