ACTUM Digital is hiring its dedicated Business Development Specialist for the Commerce, Marketing & Content Growth sales cluster. You'll work closely with the Enterprise Content Management division director, the Marketing Automation Lead, and Head of Web Performance to open and qualify opportunities across EMEA and the US. It's not a pure meeting-booking role, and it's not a deal-closing one either — it's the space in between: research, conversation, qualification, and a clean handover.
What will be your key responsibilities:
What you'll do

Build and research target account lists, spotting signals worth a conversation
Open relevant conversations through outbound and personalized outreach
Ask the questions that turn a vague symptom ("campaigns are slow," "we need AI") into a qualified business opportunity
Qualify opportunities and prepare discovery briefs
Coordinate meetings, workshops, assessments and RFP participation
Keep CRM records, notes and pipeline data clean and current
Bring what you learn from client conversations back to the team
You don't need to be a Content & Marketing Automation expert on day one — curiosity, structure and a willingness to learn matter more.
What experience should you have:
 

Must-have:

• 1.5–4 years in B2B business development, SDR/BDR, account development, SaaS, MarTech, CRM, agency or digital consulting
• A consultative mindset — you ask diagnostic questions before you pitch
• Real CRM discipline (Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics, Pipedrive or similar)
• English required; Czech (B1) preferred; German (B2) welcome
• Practical, hands-on use of AI tools for research and productivity
• Comfortable being the first person doing this role — coachable, low-ego, fine without a well-worn playbook to follow

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with MarTech/CRM platforms (Bloomreach, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Braze, Klaviyo, Marketo, Dynamics)
• Agency or digital consulting business development background
• Experience prospecting into marketing, CRM, ecommerce or data teams
• Exposure to EMEA or US B2B markets
• Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Cognism or similar tools
• A basic analytical mindset — ROI, segmentation, lifecycle thinking
