GL / RTR Accountant

We are looking for an GL / RTR Accountant to join our Group Finance Centre and take care of accounting activities within the Record to Report process for Rohlik Group and related entities.
You will work on month-end closing, journal entries and account reconciliations across multiple entities. At the same time, we are looking for someone who does not just process accounting tasks mechanically, but also notices where processes can be made simpler, faster and more efficient.

In addition to day-to-day accounting, you will also contribute to process improvement and standardisation.
You will collaborate with colleagues across Finance and gradually build a deeper understanding of how Group Finance operates.

What you’ll do

• Take responsibility for your part of the month-end closing process
• Process regular Journal Vouchers
• Work according to the closing calendar across multiple entities
• Ensure the timeliness and quality of account reconciliations
• Handle routine and recurring accounting tasks independently
• Resolve known accounting issues in cooperation with the Group Accounting Manager
• Collaborate with other Finance teams across the Group
• Contribute to KPI setting and performance management
• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and improve the efficiency of RTR processes

What we’re looking for

• 1–2 years of practical experience in accounting or finance
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles
• Studies or completed education in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Experience with, or interest in, continuous process improvement
• Strong attention to detail, good organisation and the ability to meet deadlines
• Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate across teams
• Fluent Czech (mandatory) and Advanced English, comfortable for everyday written and spoken communication

• This role is offered as a fixed-term contract to cover maternity/parental leave.
