About the role

We are looking for an IT System Administrator to join our international IT team.

Our IT supports more than 1,300 users across more than 30 countries worldwide. We are a Microsoft-first environment undergoing a significant transformation – moving services to Microsoft Azure, moving away from traditional on-premise solutions, and building infrastructure on modern identity, deviice, and security management.

We operate on Zero Trust principles, focus on secure access to applications and data, and are progressively replacing traditional approaches with modern cloud solutions.

We are a smaller international IT team where every member has the opportunity to influence how our systems work. We are looking for a colleague who does not just want to maintain the status quo, but wants to contribute to its further development.

What to expect

You will contribute to the management and development of our modern IT infrastructure and its ongoing transformation towards a cloud environment.

You can look forward to working across technologies, the opportunity to get involved in projects, and room to bring your own ideas.

The role will include things such as:

• managing and developing the Microsoft environment

• managing identities, access, and security settings

• managing company devices and endpoint management

• managing server and network infrastructure

• resolving technical issues and finding long-term solutions

• collaborating on infrastructure projects

• documentation and continuous improvement of the environment

Whom we are looking for

Years of experience and a list of certifications are not what matters most to us.

We are looking for someone we can trust with our infrastructure and know they will deliver. Someone who sees things through, thinks about the bigger picture, and when they encounter a problem, looks for its root cause.

We expect independence, accountability, and a proactive approach. If you see room for improvement, want to understand why things work the way they do, and enjoy finding better solutions, you will be in the right place with us.

We can teach you the technology. We cannot teach you the right attitude.

You will feel at home with us if you have experience in at least some of these areas:

• Microsoft environment (Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Windows Server)

• endpoint management using Intune or a similar MDM solution

• Microsoft Azure or cloud technologies

• enterprise IT infrastructure management

• English at least at B2 level

We will also value experience or interest in:

• modern security, Zero Trust, and identity and access management

• Microsoft Defender and protecting the corporate environment

• network infrastructure and security technologies (e.g. Fortigate or UniFi)

• data protection and management
