What will be your role:

You will support the Science Programmes Office in delivering scientific programmes and initiatives across ELI ERIC. You will work closely with the Head of Science Programmes Office, the Director of Science, colleagues responsible for the User Programme and Grants, ELI Facilities and partner institutions. The role requires coordination of multiple scientific stakeholders, careful handling of scientific information and active contribution to internal process improvement.

The main activities of the role are:

• Support scientific initiatives, programmes and projects
• Organise and prepare materials for ELI ERIC International Scientific and Technical Advisory Committee (ISTAC) meetings and ELI Science Directors Forum meetings
• Collect, analyse and interpret data on scientific activities
• Support maintenance of scientific databases and documentation
• Prepare reports, briefing documents and presentations
• Coordinate contributions from multiple scientific stakeholders and liaise with scientists from ELI Facilities and partner institutions
• Coordinate logistics for scientific workshops, consultations and networking activities
• Contribute to internal process improvement

We expect you to have:

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Excellent analytical, organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in project coordination or implementation
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines and work with scientific information
• A degree in Physics, Engineering, Natural Sciences, or a related field is an advantage
• Experience working in a research and/or international environment is an advantage
