AREA MANAGER (m/f/d)
Location: Czech Republic

YOUR MISSION:

• Own your region – take responsibility for personnel decisions including hiring, contract extensions, promotions and salary recommendations in - close collaboration with the Regional Manager and Recruiting.
• Develop your teams – lead, coach and support Store Managers and sushi island teams through training, mentoring and day-to-day operational guidance.
• Hire great people – actively support recruitment and help attract, hire and retain top talent.
• Drive expansion – support Regional Management by identifying new opportunities and contributing to the successful growth of your region.
• Keep operations running – coordinate workforce planning, holiday coverage and new store openings to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Champion quality – ensure quality, hygiene and operational standards through regular audits and on-site visits.
• Be the go-to person – act as the first escalation point for employees, partners and customers while finding practical solutions.
• Drive performance – monitor operational KPIs, improve commercial performance and ensure clear communication across your region.
• Build and scale our franchise network – take ownership of developing franchise structures, establishing scalable processes, and ensuring the successful onboarding, support, and long-term success of franchise partners.

YOUR SKILLS:

• Languages: Fluent Czech and English are essential. German and Slovak are a plus. An Asian language is a strong advantage.
• Leadership: you lead with empathy, inspire your team and stay confident in challenging situations.
• Organisation: you work independently, stay structured and always keep the bigger picture in mind.
• Industry experience: experience in food retail, FMCG or the quick-service/system gastronomy sector is a strong advantage.
• Hands-on mindset: you’re proactive, solution-oriented and enjoy being close to the day-to-day business.
• Strong communication skills: you connect people, communicate clearly and keep information flowing.
• Commercial mindset: KPIs motivate you and you enjoy making decisions based on data rather than instinct.
• Flexibility: you’re happy to travel throughout your region and ideally live within the area you’ll be managing.
