At Poclain, we are looking for a motivated sourcing professional who wants to take the next step in their career and lead a sourcing team within an international industrial environment.

Based in Brno, this role offers a unique opportunity to combine direct supplier management, sourcing strategy, operational decision-making and people leadership while working with teams and suppliers across different international locations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support a regional sourcing team.
• Monitor KPIs and ensure achievement of business objectives.
• Manage and develop a portfolio of strategic suppliers.
• Drive supplier performance in Quality, Cost, Delivery and Innovation (QCDI).
• Deploy sourcing strategies and productivity initiatives.
• Support new supplier development and supplier panel optimization.
• Act as the key sourcing interface for local plant management and European sourcing teams.
• Coordinate sourcing activities across multiple plants and functions.
• Manage supplier escalations and contribute to business continuity and risk management.

What will make you successful in this role?

• Strong sourcing fundamentals, including supplier management, negotiation, and cost optimization within an international industrial environment
• Minimum 3 years of experience leading and developing a team
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with active involvement in day-to-day operational sourcing activities
• Proven ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and collaborate across functions and regions
• Strong analytical skills and a pragmatic problem-solving mindset
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and ERP system knowledge, fluent English language skills
• Ownership, accountability, curiosity, and ambition to grow

Nice to have

• Experience managing direct and indirect sourcing commodities as well as projects
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and industrial commodities (machining, castings, forgings, etc.)
