About the Role 🌐

On behalf of our client—a leading global provider of technology asset recovery and refurbishing solutions—we are searching for an autonomous, analytical, and growth-oriented E-Commerce Specialist / Manager.

After building a highly successful direct-to-consumer e-commerce model in the US market, the company is now scaling its European operations. In this standalone individual-contributor role, you will work directly with global leadership to launch, manage, and optimize multi-channel sales across European marketplaces (utilizing localized inventory in Czechia).

As the European consumer business grows, this position carries strong potential to evolve into a leadership role as a local team expands! 📈

What You’ll Be Doing 🎯

• Marketplace Launch & Operations: Set up, optimize, and manage multi-channel listings across Amazon (Seller Central), eBay, Shopif and regional European platforms.
• Pricing & Market Strategy: Utilize market analysis and AI pricing tools to define competitive pricing models, monitor conversion rates, and maximize product margins.
• EU Regulatory Compliance: Navigate high-level EU cross-border regulations (WEEE, battery regulations, packaging compliance, VAT/OSS frameworks) in coordination with local partners.
• Catalog & Inventory Operations: Coordinate with the local warehouse team to align inventory, manage listing data, and ensure smooth operational flow.
• Marketplace Relationships: Manage day-to-day relationships with marketplace account representatives and negotiate commercial terms across target markets (e.g., France, Germany, Netherlands, UK).

What We’re Looking For 👤

• E-Commerce Experience: Proven hands-on experience selling on platforms like Amazon Seller Central (Shopify, eBay, or recommerce platform experience is a strong plus). Electronics/tech background is nice to have, but not mandatory!
• Data & Excel Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, complex formulas, data manipulation) to track sales trends, evaluate market value, and manage listing data.
• EU Regulatory Awareness: A solid understanding of European e-commerce selling regulations and cross-border compliance.
• Mindset & Communication Style: Highly autonomous, resourceful, and a fast learner. You are comfortable taking initiative, asking for support when needed, and communicating informally and directly.
• Languages: Fluent English is essential. Additional European languages (French, German, or Dutch) are a strong advantage.
• Location: Must be based in Czechia, with flexibility for periodic visits (approx. 1–2 times per month) to the facility near Prague.
