For our Division Automotive & Industrial, we are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Regional Sales Europe to translate our global sales strategy into measurable success across the European market. In this pivotal leadership role, you will drive profitable growth, ensure disciplined KPI management, and execute product and pricing strategies tailored to European market opportunities.
 
As part of our global sales organization – comprising dedicated regional heads for NAFTA, ESA SEA, China, and Global Accounts – you will focus on maximizing our footprint in Europe. We are looking for a dynamic, performance-driven leader who excels at building high-performing teams, fostering long-term customer partnerships, driving market penetration as well finding new interesting application and industries for our core products. In this challenging position, you will report directly to the Head of Global Sales.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Define and execute the European sales strategy and marketing plan in full alignment with global guidelines while capitalizing on regional market specifics
• Recruit, coach, and mentor a high-performing European sales team (including Technical Business Development Managers, Regional Account Managers and Sales Administration), fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
• Drive European sales performance through rigorous KPI monitoring, secure a robust project pipeline, and ensure timely, accurate sales forecasting (12-Month Rolling Forecast) and budget achievement
• Manage and develop key accounts within the region, lead complex contract negotiations, and strengthen long-term customer relationships to ensure high satisfaction and retention
• Partner closely with global sales leadership, European Plant Managers, and core functions (Operations, Global Program Management, Engineering, Quality) to ensure capacity alignment and proactive communication
• Conduct market analysis and competitive benchmarking across Europe to identify new business segments, manage regional pricing strategies, and drive portfolio optimization
• Lead organizational transformation initiatives within the European sales team, promoting multicultural competence, diversity, and cross-regional best practice exchange
• Deputy of the Global Head of Sales Automotive & Industrial

YOUR PROFILE

• Strong technical background (e.g., degree in engineering, industrial engineering, or a completed technical apprenticeship in a manufacturing environment) combined with further education in strategic sales, business management, or an MBA
• Proven track record of success in a senior sales leadership or regional account management leadership role within Europe, specifically within a high-precision manufacturing, industrial, or automotive B2B environment
• In-depth understanding of industrial manufacturing processes and technical customer requirements, including experience with automotive phase models, PPAP, and SOP milestones
• Natural leader with a demonstrated ability to coach technical and internal sales teams, set clear objectives, and manage performance through transformation
• Exceptional skills in translating global corporate strategies into localized European market plans, utilizing data and market benchmarks to optimize margins
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional steering committees and build trust at all company levels
• Proficient in leveraging CRM systems and modern digital sales tools to increase pipeline transparency and efficiency.
