The business
The Amino24i Group is a privately owned UK-headquartered SaaS and hardware technology business offering B2B video streaming and media delivery solutions through two synergistic divisions: 24i and Amino. Amino24i serves broadcasters, Pay TV operators, OTT providers and enterprises seeking to deliver high-quality live and on-demand video across any screen, anywhere in the world. The Group operates globally with offices and employees in strategic locations across Europe, North America and Asia. The Group is privately owned, having been recently acquired by Sapphire Technology Group.
Headquartered in London, Sapphire was founded in 2026 by veteran Technology executive Keith Todd to help technology businesses worldwide transform into high-growth organizations with strong cultures. Sapphire is assembling a team of expert consultants to support best-practice transformation of the technology businesses it invests in, driving growth through the implementation of strong culture, goals focused leadership and end-to-end business and finance operating systems for data-driven decisions.
The role
A unique opportunity to work with the Head of Finance as their right-hand person on handling multi-entity accounting, supporting the month-end close processes and supporting business-critical projects during a period of transformation. The role will require the successful candidate to maintain the accuracy of the General Ledger, support Group finance with tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions, and contribute to improving internal financial processes. Remote with a one day per week on site in the Brno office after probation (2-3 during probation). Twelve month fixed-term contract in the first instance, for maternity cover.

Key accountabilities
Month-end & year-end close processes and maintaining General Ledger accuracy across multiple international entities
Local VAT compliance plus supporting Group finance with tax compliance and coordinating statutory reporting for the Czech entities
Payroll accounting using outsourced payroll provider information, employee expenses, Accounts Payable, and Treasury functions
Key point of contact for financial audits and contributing to continuous process improvement
Management of two junior accountant
Key responsibilities
Review the month-end consolidated reporting and produce month on month variance analysis
Reconcile 24i month-end Trial Balance to Group consolidation system
Execute and coordinate month-end and year-end close activities across multiple international entities (CZ, NL, US, DK, FI, ES, UK)
Calculate, prepare, and post inter-company recharges and cross-checks across multiple entities
Maintain the Fixed Asset (FA) register, including calculating and booking monthly depreciation, and calculate/post specific period-end accruals
Review and submit VAT returns and related reports for multiple European entities
Collaborate with external advisors on Czech Corporate Income Tax, conduct annual US Sales Tax analysis, and prepare draft worksheets for Transfer Pricing
Prepare Financial Statements and Notes for Czech entities and ensure timely filing into the Czech Commercial Register
Process data from external payroll providers and post monthly payroll entries and related accruals across multiple entities
Coordinate the Czech annual tax settlement process (handling "Prohlášení poplatníka", “Žádost o roční zúčtování záloh na dani” etc.) to provide outcomes to the external payroll provider, and oversee travel expense processing/Per Diems.
Oversee the Accounts Payable process and weekly bank transaction booking across 9 different bank portals (supporting and reviewing junior staff)
Prepare cash flow forecasts for CZ entities to track CIT advances, payroll, and AP funding needs, and execute regular payments
Provide auditors with required supporting documentation, process notes, and review internal financial processes
Experience required
Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in complex financial accounting, ideally in a multi-national/multi-entity environment
Financial reporting and accounting as well as multi-currency. Group reports under IFRS and support comes from Group level on key standards (revenue recognition, IFRS16)
Exposure to local compliance requirements
Academic knowledge of local tax compliance
Intercompany accounting
Consolidation and reporting tool experience. ERP systems
Skills required
Professional working proficiency in English and Czech
High level of accuracy, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines (daily, monthly, yearly tasks)
Strong organizational skills with an ability to work independently in a complex environment
Advanced Excel skills (including pivot tables, willingness to learn nested formulae and more)
