Country Manager Czech Republic & Slovakia – Business Development & Key Accounts | Telco, Mobile & Consumer Electronics
Location: Czech Republic / Slovakia
Maxcom S.A., a leading European manufacturer of mobile phones and consumer electronics, is strengthening its presence in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
We are looking for a commercially strong Country Manager with proven experience and active business relationships in the Telco, Mobile, and Consumer Electronics sectors. The role will be responsible for delivering revenue and margin growth, developing strategic accounts, and expanding Maxcom’s customer base across the Czech and Slovak markets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Growth & New Customers
- Drive market expansion in the Czech Republic and Slovakia through new clients, channels, and partnerships.
- Identify and win B2B opportunities with Telco operators, mobile retailers, consumer electronics retailers, distributors, e-commerce players, and specialized sales channels.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of commercial opportunities
2. Telco & Consumer Electronics Key Account Management
- Build and strengthen relationships with strategic customers in Telco, Mobile, and CE sectors.
- Act as a trusted commercial partner and brand ambassador, ensuring strong account development and high service quality.
- Lead pricing discussions, commercial proposals, negotiations, and long-term agreements.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
3. Sales Leadership & Market Development
- Lead local sales and business development activities across Czechia and Slovakia.
- Drive portfolio penetration with existing and new customers, including mobile phones and CE products.
4. Representation & Collaboration
- Represent Maxcom in regular customer meetings, negotiations, trade fairs, and industry events.
- Increase brand visibility and commercial credibility in the Czech and Slovak markets.
- Collaborate closely with headquarters on market strategy, forecasting, pricing, and execution.
Requirements:
- Proven experience and established business relationships in Telco, Mobile, and Consumer Electronics markets in the Czech Republic and/or Slovakia.
- Strong network among mobile operators, retail chains, distributors, e-commerce, and CE/ GSM channels.
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or key account management, preferably in an international environment.
- Proven success in opening new accounts, developing existing customers, and delivering revenue growth.
- Good understanding of market structures, channel management, and negotiation standards.
- Higher education in business, technical, or related fields.
- Strong command of English; Czech and/or Slovak language skills are strongly preferred.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- High level of independence, ownership, commercial drive, and result orientation.
- Willingness to travel regularly within the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and internationally.
