Corporate Financial Controller - Group Controlling Team

At ResInvest Group a.s., we are looking for a new colleague to join our Group Controlling team in Prague. We are seeking someone who enjoys working with numbers in a broader business context, can connect data with insights, and wants to have a direct impact on financial reporting and decision-making across the entire group. You will become part of a team that works closely with finance professionals across our companies and actively contributes to process improvements, reporting development, and strategic projects.

What your work will involve

• Prepare the monthly group reporting for the assigned companies / business areas
• Collaborate on preparing the annual business plan for selected entities
• Identify key risks and potential issues, and comment on results and future trends
• Take part in new projects relating to the setup of processes and information systems for reporting
• Collaborate with local finance/controlling teams across group companies and provide support when needed
• Oversee compliance with accounting standards and the group's internal policies.
• Your responsibilities will include financial planning, data analysis and interpretation (actuals, forecast, budget), and preparing reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Resolve non-standard situations from various perspectives (accounting, consolidation, financial reporting), company valuation, investment appraisal, and integration of newly acquired companies

Who we are looking for

• You have a university degree in economics; ACCA, CPA, CFA, or a similar qualification (even not yet completed) is an advantage
• You have at least 2 years of experience in finance, controlling, or auditing
• You can analyze data, read the numbers, and develop recommendations
• You know Excel inside out; you are interested in AI tools (Claude, Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.)
• You can communicate in Czech and English in a working environment
• You are able to work with different teams and are not afraid to take responsibility for your assigned area
• You are independent and fair, and you can organize your work and set your own priorities
