Role Overview:

We are seeking for an experienced Customer Quality Engineer to join our client - a global automotive supplier specializing in advanced plastic components and systems in the Central Bohemian region.

This is a senior specialist role focused on customer quality management, acting as a key interface between the company and major automotive customers, including premium OEMs.

This position would especially suit an experienced automotive quality professional who enjoys customer interaction, problem-solving, and driving quality improvements across serial production projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary quality contact for assigned automotive customers
• Manage customer quality requirements and complaint resolution with support from cross-functional teams
• Drive quality performance across serial production projects
• Coordinate and maintain customer portals and related quality documentation
• Update and maintain key quality documents, including: Control Plans, PFMEA, Work Instructions, Other customer-specific quality documentation
• Support investigation and resolution of quality issues within production
• Coordinate and manage changes on serial projects, including sample submissions and approvals
• Monitor and evaluate quality-related costs and non-conformity data
• Prepare reports and quality performance updates for the Quality Manager
• Participate in audits, customer meetings, and continuous improvement activities

What Will You Need To Succeed:

• Previous experience in a Customer Quality Engineer, Supplier Quality Engineer, Quality Specialist, or similar automotive quality role
• Experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally automotive
• Strong customer-facing communication skills
• English language at B2 level or higher (daily communication)
• Knowledge of automotive quality tools and methodologies
• Advanced user knowledge of MS Office
• Driving licence (Category B)

• Experience working with OEM customers such as BMW, Toyota, Volkswagen Group, Mercedes-Benz, or similar
• German language skills
• Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001
• Experience with SAP
• Familiarity with customer portals and serial production quality processes
• Experience with PFMEA, Control Plans, 8D and root cause analysis methodologies
