Key Account Manager – Industrial Decarbonisation | Europe | Prague-based Hybrid Role
Join the Sustainability Centre of Excellence team at Spirax Group and help shape the
decarbonisation journey of industrial customers across EMEA.
We are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager who thrives in complex, consultative solution selling — someone who understands that decarbonising industrial processes is not a product sale, but a long-term strategic conversation. You will help large industrial customers define and execute their thermal energy decarbonisation roadmap, working at the highest levels of their organization.
This is a strategic role with strong visibility across the organization, working closely with technical experts, service teams, OpCos, and global account structures.
🌍 What will you do?
Own and develop strategic Key Accounts across EMEA
Lead complex, multi-stakeholder solution sales cyclesfocused on industrial decarbonisation and thermal energy
Build and execute long-term customer decarbonisation roadmaps — from initial conversation to delivered impact
Drive business growth by identifying and converting new opportunities among customers actively pursuing decarbonisation goals
Engage and influence senior stakeholders — including Sustainability Directors, Energy Managers, Procurement Directors and Divisional Directors
Act as a trusted senior partner for customers on their journey to reduce carbon emissions from industrial processes
Coordinate cross-functional international teams to deliver integrated customer solutions
Work closely with Global Account Managers, technical experts and regional OpCos

👤 Your manager: You will report directly to Rebecca Bowen, Head of Sustainability CoE — an energetic, experienced and highly respected leader with strong commercial and EMEA leadership background.
✅ What we are looking for:
Strong Key Account Management experience with a proven track record in complex, solution-based selling— this is the priority
Demonstrated ability to navigate long, consultative sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers and technical stakeholders
Comfortable selling strategic outcomes, not products — you understand how to position decarbonisation as a business priority, not a line item
Experience engaging C-level and senior stakeholders — sustainability, energy, procurement or divisional leadership
Sustainability experience is a strong advantage — this doesn't have to be technical; relevant sector experience (e.g. energy, industrial services) with sustainability exposure is equally valued
Direct end-user sales background essential — OEM or distribution experience alone is not sufficient for this role
Ability to work in matrix/global structures
Executive-level communication skills
Fluent English; Czech or another European language is a plus

💰 Package:
£70,000–£80,000 annual base salary
