This is the job

As a People & Culture Specialist, you will support day-to-day HR operations and help ensure a smooth employee experience across the organization. This role is designed primarily for junior candidates or those at the beginning of their HR career who are detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn in a dynamic environment.

This is you

• You have good communication skills and a proactive, can-do attitude
• You have a basic understanding of Czech labor law or a willingness to learn
• You have experience working with HRIS systems and the Microsoft Office Suite, or you are eager to learn
• You are able to handle sensitive and confidential information responsibly
• You are detail-oriented and have good organizational skills, with a willingness to develop your problem-solving abilities
• You enjoy working with others and have a customer-service mindset
• You are fluent in Czech and have a good command of English (both written and spoken)
• Any experience with onboarding is a plus

This is your role

• Support the onboarding process (documentation, coordination, and orientation sessions)
• Manage and maintain HR documentation and internal knowledge bases
• Oversee and coordinate background checks for new and existing employees
• Prepare and manage contracts, amendments, and personal documentation in line with legal requirements
• Handle HR service desk requests, ensuring timely resolution
• Maintain and update employee data in HR systems (HRIS)
• Support communication of HR policies and procedures across the company
• Provide general administrative support and assist with company events (e.g., team buildings, internal events, company breakfasts)
• Manage and administer employee absences (vacation, sick leave, parental leave, etc.)
