Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Business Development Manager – Contract Logistics (CZ & SK), based in Prague or Bratislava with expected traveling across the region. The role entails developing and implementing strategies to expand contract logistics services in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Primary responsibilities include identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, maintaining and building client relationships, negotiating contracts, and achieving sales targets. The individual will collaborate with internal teams to tailor logistics solutions to client needs, analyze market trends, and report on business development activities.

Qualifications

• Strong business development, sales, and negotiation skills, with the ability to generate and close new business opportunities
• Identify, target and acquire new customers a build and manage strong sales pipeline
• Knowledge of logistics, supply chain management, and contract logistics, with a focus on warehousing and distribution services
• Proficiency in market analysis, strategic planning, and client relationship management with ability to develop and execute sales strategies
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to maintain collaboration with clients and teams with aim to manage customer relationship
• Proven ability to work independently in a hybrid setting and deliver results in a dynamic environment
• Fluency in English and Czech or Slovak
• Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Prior experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or a related industry is highly desirable

What we expect:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or sales in logistics / contract logistics
• Proven track record in client acquisition and solution selling
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Customer-oriented mindset and ability to build long-term relationships
• Ability to work independently and proactively identify opportunities
• Fluent English
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Driving license (category B)
